Welcome to the Help and Documentation for our content management system RedDot, an OpenText Solutions application. To the left, you will find a link to RedDot for the Universtiy of Arkansas. The web address is:

Please be sure to add this to your Favorites or Bookmarks. If you have an account already, your projects and sites will automatically load for you. If you do not have an account, please send a request either via your College Web Master or by using the Request Form on this site.

Currently, we are running RedDot version 7.5 utilizing RedDot's basic text editor (Internet Explorer) and the FCKEditor (all other browsers). However, as of January 29th, 2010, we will be upgrading to version 9 and utilizing the Telerik RadEditor for all browsers. We will be conducting introduction classes to the upgrade, as well as individual training sessions as needed. To schedule a training session, simply fill out the Request Training Form located on this site.

The following help pages will all focus on actions performed primarily while in SmartEdit mode of RedDot. Our training sessions also will focus on this aspect. If, however, you have a question or require training for the advanced SmartTree functions of RedDot, please use the Request Training Form and indicate this in the Comments area. Please note: SmartTree requires advanced knowledge of web development.
